Las Vegas is known as the entertainment capital of the world.
Few cities bring to mind such images of sheer excess as Las Vegas. Situated in the Mojave Desert on the border of California and Nevada, Las Vegas stands out and is enthused with life, energy and money - a city centered on entertainment.
Las Vegas is the fastest growing city in America and has more than 150,000 hotel rooms. Over 40 Million people visit Las Vegas every year and many are choosing to take the most of a luxury vacation by flying aboard a private jet charter to Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is known for its legendary figures such as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Celine Dion, Elton John, Sigfried and Roy, Bugsy Siegal, Meyer Lansky, Britany Spears, Cirque du Soleil, Blue Man Group, and many more.
Las Vegas arouses feelings of freedom, extravagance, fun, and there is no better way to have fun than to start your trip with a Vegas Jet Charter.
Steve Wynn changed the landscape of the Las Vegas strip with the introduction of The Mirage hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip. Since then many other major and stunning buildings have been built. Examples are The Venetian, The Palazzo, The Bellagio and more.
But Las Vegas isn't all about fun. Serious business takes place there. Real estate is a booming industry as is the convention business. Major shows such as the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) generate huge revenues for the cities hotels.
A luxury vacation in Las Vegas has many facets. Private jets, limousines, show tickets, Hotel and dining accommodations and pretty much anything else you might need for the ultimate Vegas getaway.
When flying into Las Vegas there are primarily two choices. McCarran International Airport (LAS) and Henderson Airport (HND).
McCarran International Airport is a great choice when arriving via heavy jet and budget is not a factor. One of the biggest drawbacks to McCarran is occasional congestion which can delay your flight for some time. Much of this congestion should be relieved when the airport upgrades are complete (expected around 2011). There is talk of a new airport coming to Las Vegas in 2017 (Ivanpah Valley Airport) but details are still being finalized.
The other major alternate airport is Henderson Executive Airport (HND) with almost no commercial traffic HND is a great alternative to McCarran and very rarely has congestion. While located a bit farther from the strip than McCarran (KLAS) on busy travel days the drive is a small price to pay vs. the delays and airport slots associated with McCarran.
Some of the more popular routes for Las Vegas Jet Charters are:
Van Nuys (VNY) to Las Vegas
Los Angeles (LAX) to Las Vegas
Teterboro (TEB) to Las Vegas
New York to Las Vegas
San Francisco (SFO) to Las Vegas
